The world is on the brink of a technological revolution, and businesses everywhere are eager to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to transform their operations. Srini Pallia, CEO and managing director of Wipro, underscored this in the company’s annual report for 2023-24.

Wipro’s AI-Driven Ecosystem: ai360

Last year, Wipro launched ai360, an AI-first ecosystem supported by a $1 billion investment over three years. “Our strategy is unlocking significant business value for both our clients and ourselves,” Pallia noted in his letter to shareholders. He highlighted that over 225,000 associates have been trained in basic GenAI fundamentals, with more than 30,000 advancing to higher levels of AI training tailored to specific roles and personas.

Pioneering AI Patents and Platforms

Wipro holds an impressive 470 AI patents, and its Lab45 AI platform is operational and ready for use. “We have also established strong compliance and safety measures to ensure a secure AI journey for both us and our clients,” Pallia stated.

Consulting-Led AI Approach for Maximum Impact

Wipro’s consulting-led approach empowers clients to unlock AI’s full potential, achieving both short-term and long-term objectives. As clients begin to see the benefits of AI in enhancing stakeholder experience, gaining revenue insights, and optimizing costs, the demand for AI solutions is expected to grow significantly.

Additionally, Wipro’s iAspire AI-based learning platform offers personalized learning opportunities for employees.

Strategic Investments in AI Startups

Wipro Ventures, the company’s corporate investment arm, is actively investing in AI startups. In May, it invested in Kognitos, an automation platform that uses GenAI to streamline business processes and enhance productivity in large-scale transformation projects.

A Vision for the Future
